TubeLoud adjusts video volume using your browser's built-in Web Audio API. All audio processing happens locally on your device, in real time. Audio is never recorded, saved, or sent to any server — because there is no server.

4. Permissions We Use & Why

• YouTube tab access: To detect the video player and apply volume controls on the current tab only.
• Local storage: To remember your preferences (volume level and the "Auto-apply" toggle) on your device. This data never leaves your browser and can be removed by uninstalling the extension.
